This function is sensitive on the type of data in the clipboard. Processed types are text, metafiles and bitmaps. With this function you can save any embedded graphic from applications like Word or Excel to a file. Just copy the graphic to the clipboard and save it using this option
- Text: Copy the text in the clipboard to a file. The filename is the first line of the text. This option is useful if you copy text from another application (e.g. Internet explorer) to the clipboard and you want to quickly save this text.
- Bitmap: Copy the graphic in the clipboard to a bitmap (bmp) file. You have to enter the filename.
- Metafile: Copy the graphic in the clipboard to a metafile (emf). You have to enter the filename.
